Claire iglesias

Claire Iglesias is an artist and textile/surface designer based in Brittany.I have had the pleasure of mentoring Claire, and after encouraging her to put her passion for hand printing into her surface design work, I was astonished at how beautiful her designs are on fabrics.

Claire's abstract shapes and textures are inspired by architecture and nature. She works in digital and physical media such as collage to create vibrantly colored compositions and patterns, using intuition to guide her process. Through collage and other techniques, she is always looking for ways to create subtleties and surprises through new combinations of materials, shapes and colors.
