Cascade Blouse

The Cascade Blouse is a very simple Sleeveless top that is based on the tried and true Nerida Hansen Shell Top.
The Cascade Blouse Comes with a pattern for a Capelet, a pretty addition to dress up the simplicity, and offer a beautiful wearable option for those who don't like to bare upper arms. 

Minimal Top and Dress Set

Updated Release December 2023

With the base pattern made up of 2 simple pieces, the Minimal Top and Dress set is a breeze for all skill levels. 
This set was previously called the "Everday Top" and "Everday Dress", which has been an incredibly popular pattern to sew with the brightest fabrics imaginable. 
The armhole opening has had a refresh, which resulted in the top providing more comfort, and a neater wear around the shoulders.
Now these two patterns are combined, offering fantastic value. Not only that we have added length to provide a new stylish long version with optional side split and add-on sleeves.

Downtown Tee

The Downtown Tee, previously known as the "Cuff Sleeve Tee" Is a simple, relaxed shape with a cuff detail to make this a simple, yet versatile top that is slightly dressier than the Minimal top.

Festival Top

Release December 1st

Nerida's New Festival Top has a loose cropped fit, but is also offered with a longer option in both body and arms. With floaty pleated sleeves and the choice of round or v-neck, this top will suit festival goers of most shapes and sizes. Quite simply, it has been our fave summer go-to!
Festival Top Fabric Requirement: 
Based on 140 cm wide fabric:
Size 8-18 Shorter Bodice and Sleeve : 150 cm
Longer Sleeve or Bodice : 1.8 cm

All patterns include a 1cm seam allowance.

D'Orsay Tiered Duster

Release - March 2024

In my quest to bring more statement pieces to the Nerida Hansen Sewing Colleciton, I am proud to introduce the Tiered Duster.  
This pattern is designed to craft a stylish duster coat that combines elegance with a touch of casual flair, making it perfect for various occasions, from everyday outings to more sophisticated events.

Key features of this pattern include:-
Tiered design extending to mid calf at full length, with a choice of lenghts depending on how many tiers you add. Choice of 2 collars including a standard Shirt Collar and Peter Pan style for something more feminine.
Choice of 2 inset sleeves including a wide straight sleeve or balloon design which gives this Duster a feminine modern twist.
Practical Side Pockets
Button closure from top to bottom, which allows this pattern to be worn as a Dress in the lightest cotton Voile for Summer, or a warm wool or medium weight linen for Winter.
, either in the lightest Voile  **Fabric Recommendations**: The pattern is suitable for a range of fabrics, from lightweight linens and cotton for warmer weather to heavier materials like wool blends for cooler temperatures.

D'Orsay Jumpsuit

The "D'Orsay Jumpsuit, named to reflect the perfect outfit for visits to a Gallery or Museum, is a sewing pattern which provides chic style with comfortable ease.
Key Features:
Bloused Bodice:
The waist of this jumpsuit is wider than our Paloma Jumpsuit. making it super comfortable for all body shapes and sizes. It is designed with a slight gather so the bodice blouses, finished beautifully with a wide belted tie create a flattering silhouette.

Optional Sleeve Designs:
The Pattern includes 2 optional sleeve designs making this a year-round go-to.
A simple bloused camilsole with slide adjustments is offered in size 8-18, with a wider strap in Sizes 20-32.
The balloon sleeves offered across all size ranges add a touch of drama and fashion-forward appeal, with gentle gathering at the cuffs to create volume.
Pant Styles:
This pattern offers two distinct pant options: - A Wide leg For a classic, flowing look, or an  innovative side-leg tuck feature, which gives a more tapered and modern appearance.

Elysium Lounge Set

The "Elysium" Lounge Set sewing pattern is a delightful and versatile design, perfect for creating comfortable yet stylish sleepwear that can easily transition into chic summer wear.
This pattern focuses on simplicity is an excellent choice for sewists looking for a project that is quick and easy.
Key features:
The camisole top is cut on the bias providing a flowing design wtih a relaxed fit around the bodice. r
The matching shorts are designed with an elasticated waistband with a moderate length that you can customise to your liking. 
For lounge or sleepwear, soft and breathable fabrics like cotton jersey or modal are recommended. For a summery daytime look, lightweight linens or printed cotton fabrics can add a touch of elegance and playfulness.
The pattern also includes an optional frill to provide customisation options for a more elegant look.

Simple Sewers Favourite

The Highly Popular Festival Top will soon be offered in our Curve Size Range.
Size 20-32 has a longer wider bodice than our first Festival Top, but with the same signature floaty pleated sleeve and the choice of round or v-neck. Quite simply, it has been our fave summer go-to!

Flo Skirt Update Release December 2023

Classic Elasticised Long Skirt

The Flo Skirt pattern has been a favorite for some time, and has had a recent update including a longer length and additional sizing.
This elastic waisted skirt is a comfortable option for all seasons.The boxed pleats and 50mm elastic waist band make it a comfortable elegant throw-on and the simplicity lends itself to adventure, inviting bold fabric designs.The pattern is suitable for a home sewer with a bit of experience and we recommend using a woven fabric such as Cotton Sateen and lightweight linen or for a more elegant finish, lightweight Ecovero.
Fabric Requirements:140 cm wide - sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 18 - 2m

Simple & Stylish Top and Dress Combo

As part of my quest to provide greater value to sewers, the Gertrude Dress and Top Set is a combination pattern of the 2 of our previous most popular patterns, the  "Half Sleeve Dress and Half Sleeve Top"
Both the dress and top have had an upgrade with wider sleeve opening and adjustments to the bust-darts and shoulder seams.
Both are flattering and simple shift with darts at the bust and straight sleeves to the elbow. Practical with pockets in the side seams, it's the perfect style for both the office or casual wear. It's an easy pattern to sew, great for a satisfyingly quick weekend project. For best results we love to use Nerida Hansen cotton wovens to make the Half Sleeve Dress.

These pants feature a slim-line hip silouhette with wide, long legs.
Add the retro-style pockets to front or back for everyday urban chic, or leave off for a more sophisticated look.

Jardin Dress and Top Set 

Update Release December 2023

The Jardin Dress and Top Set is another NEw Value Pattern Combo, previously known as our "Shift Dress" and "Shell Top".
It is a flattering, yet relaxed style ideal for everyday or office attire. It has bust darts and a single button and button loop detail on a small opening at the back neck. The neckline and armholes are faced for a super neat finish. This is a quick project that uses minimal fabric. Make one (or many!) in our beautiful Nerida Hansen Fabrics.

Named after one of Nerida's favorite Beach hangouts, it is a huge, versatile  bag that when used with any of our bright, gorgeous fabrics is a real statement accessory.
Our bag has internal lining and pocket and is best suited to our linens, mid-weight cottons or heavier canvas. This bag is a satisfyingly quick project for confident sewists; perfectly suited to making for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone special.
Raffs Bag Requires.1.2m of any fabric 137cm wide can be used PLUS 70cm for optional inner lining.

It’s a shady hat designed to be a great base shape to create a real statement using only a small amount of a Nerida Hansen Fabrics print fabric. This hat is a satisfyingly quick project for confident sewists; perfectly suited to making for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone special. Head circumferences vary widely so we do recommend choosing your size for this hat style according to your own individual head circumference.
